The Antlion Detector is a Resistance invention detecting approaching Antlions. They were used in the Victory Mine where Sheckley and Griggs were stationed.
The contraption includes three traffic lights connected to a generator. When it detects vibrations, it activates the lights. the more vibration, the more lights. It is not foolproof, however, as both Gordon Freeman and a group of Vortigaunts set it off.
