Combine Cremator

The Combine Cremator is a cut Combine transhuman, originally intended to fight the player and dispose of Resistance members' bodies.

Much like the Stalker or the Overwatch Elite, the Cremator was designed as a transhuman- a human modified by Combine technology. During the Combine War, its job was to fight the human Resistance and dispose of dead bodies through the use of its Immolator - a large cannon capable of spraying acid fuel, which would disintegrate organic matter upon contact. It was intended for the player to obtain an Immolator, which would have been effective against organic enemies such as the Headcrab and the Antlion.

The Cremator was cut completely from the final version of a game, along with its weapon. However, an Easter Egg was left in the game in the form of the Cremator's head, conserved in formaline on Eli's table in Black Mesa East. Eli mentions that Alyx brought it in, and he does not know what it is.

It is possible that Cremators exist in the Half-Life universe, as burnt bodies are often discovered in-game, located in places where Overwatch execute their clean-ups.
