Desert Eagle

The Desert Eagle is a large caliber gas-operated semi-automatic pistol manufactured in Israel by IMI (Israel Military Industries) for Magnum Research, Inc. It is a powerful handgun, available in a variety of magnum calibers. In the game Opposing Force, it is chambered for .357 Magnum, but has a 7-round magazine, which is usually the amount a .50 AE Desert Eagle has. It has a laser aiming module underneath the barrel, allowing for more precise aiming at the cost of a slower rate of fire.
The Desert Eagle was used by certain Black Mesa security guards such as Otis, and by soldiers who had no other guns such as medics and engineers.
