"You have no idea how tiring it is to praise someone for placing an Edgeless Safety Cube into a receptacle designed to exactly fit an Edgeless Safety Cube."

The Aperture Science Edgeless Safety Cube Receptacle is a testing element used throughout the Aperture Science Enrichment Center during the cooperative campaign of Portal 2.[1]

Overview[]

  • This is the Edgeless Safety Cube equivalent of a Cube Button.
  • Edgeless Cubes must be placed into the receptacle to activate certain testing elements such as doors, platforms, or in deploying more testing elements.[1]
  • Cubes can not be placed in the Aperture Science Edgeless Safety Cube Receptacle, only a Edgeless Safety Cube can be placed inside them
