Noriko[1] is a member of the Resistance stationed at Shorepoint base. She appears in the chapter "Highway 17".
Under the command of Leon, she appears to have been the mechanic at the base, since she is apparently in charge of maintaining the Scout Car and operating the crane. Immediately prior to Gordon Freeman's arrival at Shorepoint, Noriko mounted a crate of 4.6x30 ammunition on the back of the Scout Car.
On Leon's orders, she then brought the vehicle onto the pier and used the crane magnet to shift the Scout Car down onto the beach with Freeman inside. The magnet failed midway through the trip, however, sending Gordon and the Scout Car plummeting down onto the sand, from which Antlions began to emerge. Fortunately, Gordon was able to flip the Scout Car back the right-way up with the Gravity Gun and drive off.
