The Pulse Shield is a weapon cut from Half-Life 2.
[edit] Overview
- The only information known about this weapon comes from an unused HUD texture file named "w_icons3.vtf" located in the folder "materials/sprites" in the Half-Life 2 files.
- Probably a shield or a some kind of shield launcher using technology similar to the one used for the Combine barricades, forcefields or field bridges, it is assumed it was to protect the player, likely after being a weapon used by an opponent. For instance, concept art for the Combine Synth Elite Soldier shows it using a shield.
