The Snapbug[1] is an alien cut from Half-Life. It can be found in the game files. Its model is slightly bigger than a Headcrab.
[edit] Overview
An insect-like creature, not much is known about it, since it has no animations. It probably would have attacked the player by jumping at them and hitting them with its claws. Its small size and probable fast speed would have made it an enemy difficult to hit and annoying in the vein of the Headcrab or the Snark, thus its redundancy and possible reason for its cut.
