So atricle states that none CP officers had joined the Resistance after the all-out uprising, nor anyone could. So, author assumes that all CP officers received memory-replacement (thats, assumable, the process during that all personal memory is wiped out and replaced by Combine indoctrination) So - how Barney evaded his memory-replacement?

The main difference between CPs and Overwatch soldiers, to my understanding, is that CPs aren't augmented though they could be promoted to Overwatch after receiving augmentation. The thing to remember is that not all humans are morally upstanding and, in all likelihood, CPs were volunteers for the additional food and privileges; and getting to beat people up with impunity. More probably, Barney would have been required to do some unpleasant things with no way out of it and most Resistance members probably didn't want to take the risk or harm other citizens for not following the Combine's thousands of rules and regulations. It would also be expected that an evaluation would have been required to demonstrate loyalty, the question is probably how effective it was. 60.240.3.70 10:10, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

what if he held so type of rank that was given by Breen and he lied on evalutions that usualy take place in ploice and some military personel's career and he just said the combine were great and BSed his way through because he aparently had control over the train station.

I say he kill a Cp and took his uniform as it is almost impossible to avoid it.

he probably skiped required memory wipes or the resistance kept a record of himself that he made and used it to remeber his true alleginc
