Now, I know Manhacks are called viscerators to the overwatch, Gunships are Airwatch. Do you know what Scanners, Rollermines, Striders, Hunters, or Hoppers are called to the Combine? -- Mega Sean 45 05:55 PM December 09, 2008 (UTC)

- A few months back I spent some time digging around in the game's files, listening to the voice clips and reading an associated script file designating what sounds are to be played when and what they mean (roughly), and this is what I remember:
- Parasitics = Headcrabs
- Necrotics = Zombies
- Biotics = Antlions
- Extractor = Grenade
- Steriliser = Sentry turrets
- Exogen = Intruder
- Parasitics = Headcrabs
- I don't know what any of the others are referred to, (if they are at all) though.
