Missing Astronauts

So in this interview, its mentioned they could still be deep in the facility, and in game theirs a mention by cave johnson to "A senate hearing about missing astronauts", anyone else think a connection lies there? 11:46, May 16, 2011 (UTC)

Nope. Probably unrelated. E gal 13:43, May 23, 2011 (UTC)

is there a link to this interview? Eto 'Zamamai 20:07, June 12, 2011 (UTC)

I like to think that the Space Core is one of the missing astronauts. Early AI was pretty much human minds stuck into a computer, so it's not unlikely that the Space Core was a very early AI experiment. ~Luckjes112

"The quote by Cave Johnson is a reference to the Necromorphs, and a nod from Valve to the Dead Space series." I"m not very familiar with the Dead Space series, but i would like to know relates. A source would be nice, but an explanation would be appreciatted. 22:12, July 3, 2011 (UTC)

Trivia: DNA

Altough the definitive scientific reference regarding DNA (the double-helix structure) is the Watson and Crick article published in 1953, DNA was known to be the 'transforming principle' that carried genetic information since at least 1943-44 (Source: Avery O, MacLeod C, McCarty M (1944). "Studies on the chemical nature of the substance inducing transformation of pneumococcal types. Inductions of transformation by a desoxyribonucleic acid fraction isolated from pneumococcus type III". J Exp Med 79 (2): 137–158.)
