Talk:Team Fortress 2
From Combine OverWiki, the English Half-Life Wikia
Considering how popular this game is, this article needs serious improvement. We need images, release date/technical data and links. Coming Second 14:30, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Good progress made folks. A couple more things:
- Do we have any source for the thing about Valve doing more "Meet the Classes"?
- We need a game infobox, I'll do this when I find the time.
- The map section is a bit of an eyesore and makes this page ridiculously long. It either a) needs serious editing or b) cut altogether. Opinions?

- How about reworking the map section into a Game Style section, highlighting Control Point(CP; Well(CP), Grainery, Gravel Pit, Dustbowl, Fastlane(Community Map)), Capture the Flag(CTF; Well(CTF), 2Fort, Turbine(Community Map)), Territory Control(TC; Hydro), and Payload(PL; Goldrush). Use the Official maps as support for them. I've included Turbine and Fastlane, even though they are community maps, as they are now officially distributed by VALVe as of the Pyro Update pack.
- Also, the Medic and Pyro updates should be mentioned, along with a nod that the rest of the classes are getting similar updates in time. These could be put under an updates section, or just include the information in a subsection under the individual class listings. -- Kooky 18:18, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- Mention of the Medic/Pyro added, more info on their respective pages. There have been other nerfs and buffs before- specifically to the Soldier and Demo- but I don't know the specifics of what and when. I think the Map section is fine as it is, but if you fancy reworking it please be my guest. Coming Second 23:08, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
Source: I found this. Apparently the Scout is next.
Map section: Personally I think we should limit mention of the maps to a simple list, maybe with a short summary of each one. The rest of it should go.
