[edit] Jakaii
I am a 14-year old hard core sci-fi fan/gamer. I'm a homeschooled American and live in rural New York state. My two favorite games(series) of all time are the Half Life series and the Halo trilogy. I'm also attempting to write a Christian science-fiction book somewhat based of technology from the Halo Universe. Don't know the title yet.
My interests are in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, science fiction, fantasy(especially Lord of the Rings, my favorite books and movies of all time), books, swimming, gaming(a LOT), writing, sports, and the military. I intend to join the US Army when I'm done with high school to pay for my tuition, as well as the experience from the Army. All my life I've dreamed of being in the Army.
Before the summer of 2007, I had heard off and on of Half Life, but didn't really care about it. One day last summer I was in a garage sale and found a near brand new copy of Half Life PC for $5. Knowing nothing about it, I bought it. If I had known it was a scary game, I might not have bought it. But I enjoyed it. Then came the real fun. My older brother has Half Life 2, and I played it with him when I stayed at his house once. I could barely be pulled from the computer. From that day, I knew I loved the game.
Halo is somewhat different. I had played Halo here and there when I was younger. I got to stay at my cousin's house, who had Halo and Halo 2. I was only about 10 or 11, but I loved it so much I beat both games in a week nonetheless. At the same cousin's house this Christmas we stayed up late for 3 nights straight playing Halo 3 and Gears of War. I have Halo for PC, and love it.
